Job description
Today Bread is a small artisan sourdough bakery and cafe located in London E17. We are open 7 days per week and produce our all bread and food in front of our customers.
We are proud of our ingredients (all organic flour) and process and feel it is important for people to see how food is made.
We are looking for an experienced and creative PASTRY CHEF with minimum two years professional experience and special interest in seasonal and sustainable artisan made products and willing to join our vibrant team part-time and work together to create beautiful and delicious food.
Part time, 2-3x shifts / week. Some shifts will include weekends and we would prefer if you lived locally.
You need to be a food lover, with special interest in local economy, sustainability, solving problems, producing outstaning quality products and be a team player.
We are a small team, so your input and ideas will be welcomed!

About Today Bread
Welcome to Today Bread! We are a small organic sourdough bakery and cafe located in Walthamstow Central. We believe in local, seasonal and sustainable food. Each of our loaves are expertly made by hand using organic flour and the slow fermentation process that characterises sourdough bread. Our bread is stone baked and delivered by bike to local cafés, delis and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Our bread is freshly made every morning in front of you using organic flour, water, salt, and most importantly, time! Rather than using commercial yeast, our loaves are made using naturally occurring yeast giving them the beautiful flavours and aromas that make sourdough bread so special.
