We are looking for a creative and organised Communications Officer to join our small team, to support the delivery of our marketing and communications work. This is a position which will suit someone looking for their first or second job with a passion for communicating complex issues in accessible and engaging ways, and who is looking for real world communications experience in the social sector.
This role is only open to applicants through the Government’s Kickstart scheme. If you are 16-24 years old, on Universal Credit, and interested in applying for this role, you need to get in touch with your UC coach and ask them to refer you to the job.
The work will involve social media planning and creation of content with respect to land issues, copywriting and researching blog posts, newsletters and articles, and creating marketing resources for consultancy, research and other services. You will also support us to organise and deliver events and workshops, and collect and analyse data to help us understand the effectiveness of different communications channels.
We will work actively with the successful candidate to develop your understanding of how to apply your skills in the context of a social enterprise working for social change. We’d particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience of communications and/or marketing work in a commercial, campaigning or community or social group context.
