We need a motivated and practical person for an immediate start in a full/part time time role.
Helping with our Longhorn cattle, maintenance, gardening and building work all over the farm.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in farming, preferably, but not neccessarily, with experience and knowledge already gained either through college or from previous farm work, to get involved in the day to day operation of a working livestock farm.
There is an opportunity for the right person to become involved on a share farm basis, thereby receiving training, help and eventually part of the livestock business. We sell direct from the farm and marketing to our local customers is all part of the job.
At the same time much of what takes place here is general maintenance of building, replacing hedges and fencing, rebuilding stone walls, clearing rivers and working with timber.
You will need to be fit, have knowledge of and experience of working with tractors, chainsaws and the like.
You may also need to have your own transport and live locally.
Salary is dependent on experience.
Please send an email with your contact details, address and date of birth to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please also state why you think you are the perfect person for this role, and how you see yourself working within the context of our farm.
If you have a cv thats great, and references even better.
