Job description

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and responsible driver to undertake vegbox deliveries in their own vehicle across South London and Surrey. 

You will be a reliable and experienced multi-drop driver who is supportive of the farm’s aims and be committed to supporting sustainable small-scale food production and retail. You will be working as part of a friendly team of drivers, being the face of our farm and delivering to both regular and new customers each week.

Normal working hours will be from 8.00am to 4.30pm on Thursday and Fridays although there is some flexibility in working times. As a member of the farm community you will also share in our values and mission as a social enterprise and take pride in your role in the VegBox scheme.

In return we offer the London Living wage plus mileage and the opportunity to be part of the most productive community-owned farm in South London!

Requirements

  • Clean driving license (held for at least one year)
  • Over 25 years old (for insurance purposes)
  • Small / Medium size panel van
  • Multi-drop delivery experience
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of south London area preferable
  • Own Sat Nav would be helpful

We started in 2010 in response to a community need with the purpose to increase access to fresh, healthy, sustainable food and provide a shared space for people to cultivate skills, get exercise and make new friends. Our farm sits on a beautiful 7.1 acre smallholding with views towards the skyline of central London.
